A delightful traditional stone built end of terrace cottage, situated on a quiet private road close to the heart of the vibrant Market Town of Wooler.
The town nestles in the foothills of the Cheviots, Northumberland National Park. Fabulous walks can be enjoyed in the surrounding area and from the door step of the cottage.
Ground Floor
Porch with shoe rack and wall heater.
Kitchen, fully equipped and fitted to a high standard.
This includes gas cooker, microwave, fridge, upright freezer, automatic washer, portable radio and pine dining table and chairs.
Comfortable lounge with colour TV offering 'Freeview' satellite channels, DVD, gas fire.
Books, games, maps and a comprehensive guide to the area provided.
First Floor
Large double bedroom and twin bedroom, both with good quality mattresses and pine furniture.
Cot and high chair available.
Bathroom with bath, electric shower and heated towel rail.

Double glazing.
Fitted carpets throughout.
Heating provided by modern electric storage heaters.
Gas and electricity included in the cost.
Good quality bedding is provided at no extra cost (sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers), also towels and tea towels.

Whitsun View holiday cottage has a beautiful well kept garden, with a seating area from which to enjoy uninterrupted hill views.
Visitors are welcome to pick seasonal produce from the vegetable garden.
Wooler offers a variety of places to dine including a popular Italian Restaurant or why not simply enjoy the views and dine Alfresco in the quiet sechluded cottage garden.

Coming north on the A697
As you approach Wooler you will cross a bridge over the river, then head off left up a hill (called The Peth) to Wooler (about 100 yards until you get to the top). Look out for the Spice village (Indian restaurant) & take a sharp right, (almost doubling back on yourself). You will drive past several houses & then through a gap between them & a single house on your right. You will see the sign for Whitsun View & no. 1 has a green porch. Coming south on the A697 (from Coldstream) The easiest route would be to turn right off the A697 at Church Street (opposite the B6348 Chatton road). At the top of the hill turn left at the Wheatsheaf public house and look for the Indian Resturant (Spice World) on the left. Take the small road to the left. You will drive past several houses & then through a gap between them & a single house on your right. You will see the sign for Whitsun View & no. 1 has a green porch. See map. |
