A fabulous apartment for couples with great features, looking across the harbour to the historic town walls and quays of Berwick, Mill Wharf is a great conversion of a historic granary.
French white oak flooring throughout with occasional wool rugs, very comfortable leather sofas, a walk-in shower and flat-screen televisions in the lounge and bedroom (and a Blu-Ray DVD-CD player) ensure a really comfortable stay.
The apartment is rated at 4 star for facilities with a Gold Award for quality from Visit England.
There is dedicated undercover parking (access by electronically controlled gates) and the flat is reached by lift or stairs.
A Welcome Basket of Border foods greets all guests on arrival, and there are starter supplies of all detergents, tea, coffee, sugar etc.
Cyclists and walkers are welcome and the flat is on the Northumberland Coastal Path, which goes down to Holy Island and Bamburgh.
In the other direction, the path divides, with one route running up beside the Tweed and the other climbing the cliffs of Berwickshire.
Guests can reach Berwick easily by road using the A1, or by train from all over Britain and, if travelling by train, will be met at the station at no charge.
