A former traditional croft house with outstanding sea views to Skye and the Outer Hebrides, set amid working croft land.

The cottage has three bedrooms, a cosy sitting room with a multifuel stove, and a large dining kitchen.

All the rooms enjoy a stunning sea view (except the bathroom).

Double glazed throughout.

Front and rear doors open directly to the wide hall. Electric heating in the hall and all rooms.

Multifuel stove and window seat in the sitting room. Natural wood floors on the ground floor (part).

Spacious dining-kitchen with raised ceiling and loads of light from the east and north facing windows.

Dining table and seating for 6. Electric ceramic hob, oven with grill, microwave oven, kettle, toaster etc. Dishwasher and Washer-Drier. Fridge with freezer box. Well stocked with utensils, crockery and cutlery.

The beach is only a 5 minute walk away, past the Melvaig Inn.

A superb location for hillwalking and convenient for several Munros and Corbetts.

Perfect for those who enjoy outdoor pursuits such as walking, sight-seeing, bird and whale watching, or for those who just want to get away from it all.

From Inverness follow the A9 north for about 6 miles to the roundabout at Tore.
Take the A835 signed for Ullapool.
At the next roundabout continue on the A835 (2nd exit).
Turn off the A835 after about 13 miles, just after the village of Garve, signed for Gairloch-A832.
After 15 miles, you will pass through the village of Achnasheen, and then Kinlochewe.
The road reduces to single track a few miles from Gairloch.
When you get to Gairloch continue along through the town , passing the Golf course on the left and the the filling station on the right.
Shortly after you will see the McColls convenience store on the left and a junction on the left sign posted for the B0821-Melvaig.
Follow this road for about 8 miles, until you reach the sign Aultgrishan.
The cottage is a further 1 mile on, situated on the hillside on the right. See map.
