Beach lodge is located on the prestigious West Wittering Strand estate, this is arguably the best location in the village giving direct access in one minutes walk to this award winning blue flag beach.
Beach Lodge should provide everything you need for a relaxing self catering holiday. Having just undergone a complete refurbishment and only being released for the first time in 2010 it is well equipped and decorated in a light airy style.
The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a washer dryer, oven, hob, microwave, fridge and freezer.
The lounge is finished with a wood floor, leather sofa and reclining armchair plus large television with freeview, hard disc recorder and DVD.
The main bedroom has a double bed plus two large wardrobes and drawers. The second bedroom has two single beds with a large chest of drawers and bedside table. Should you require it there is even an iron and ironing board!
Off Road parking for two cars.
At the Western End of the long sandy beach is East Head which is owned by the National Trust. With acres of tranquil sand dunes and stunning views of Chichester Harbour, the South Downs and the Isle of Wight. This is a beautiful area for walking, bird watching or just relaxing on the beach. With no queues for the car park and no parking fees Beach Lodge is a perfect holiday destination for a relaxing seaside holiday.
The access to the beach is immediately adjacent to the West Wittering Windsurfing Club. From here local company 2XS offer hire and tuition of a range of sporting activities including; Windsurfing; Kitesurfing; Surfing; Stand up Paddleboarding or SUP as it is commonly referred to. The facilities for pursuing these sports are first rate with West Wittering always featuring highly in magazine tests and reviews for these popular sports activities.

The internationally acclaimed motoring events of; Goodwood Festival of Speed and The Goodwood Revival meeting. Goodwood Horse racing at what is claimed as the most picturesque flat racing course in the country, this also includes the highlight of the year; Glorious Goodwood.

A larger range of shops, including Tesco and Co-op, are available less than two miles away in East Wittering. West Wittering also has an excellent local pub and restaurant. |

From the A27 take the A286 signposted to 'WITTERINGS': Continue about 4 miles to Birdham. At the roundabout take the right turn to 'WEST WITTERING'. After a further 2 miles you will come to the village of West Wittering. Go through the village and follow the road around to the left past The Old House at Home pub. After approximately 300 yards go past a road on the right called The Wad and then take the next right which is a private road called Berry Barn Lane. At the end of this turn right onto West Strand. Beach Lodge and Beachcomber are the last house on the right hand side.
