Set in the picturesque get-away-from-it-all fishing village of Sandend, between the pretty harbour towns of Cullen and Portsoy on the Moray Firth, Sandend cottage has stunning views over the wide sandy beach from the kitchen, lounge and two front bedrooms.

The elevated garden terrace and summer house, again with stunning views, are ideal for outdoor entertaining and barbeques.

The enclosed garden and back utility wet area, along with fantastic coastal walks, makes this an ideal cottage for families, dog owners or walkers.

This recently renovated 3 bedroomed cottage sleeps 5. With a fitted kitchen and totally refurbished bathroom, along with all the modern facilities you would expect, we are sure you will enjoy a break on the beautiful Banffshire Coast.

This part of the North East of Scotland also lends itself to day trips, exploring the Castle trail, or partaking in a dram along the Whisky Trail or perhaps getting close to the dolphins and other wildlife along the Moray Firth.

Downstairs:
Fully fitted kitchen with built in fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher, oven etc and kitchen table with seating for 5.
Lounge with gas wood effect log burning stove, TV, DVD player, CD player, two 3 seater leather settees.
Modern bathroom with bath, toilet, wash handbasin and separate power shower.
Back door, leading via coat hanging area to modern utility area.

Upstairs:
King size bedded room with bed side tables, wardrobe, chest of drawers, clock radio.
Twin bedded room with feature fireplace.
Single bedroom-sitting area with door out to terrace.

Outside:
Rockery area with bench, facing east.
Elevated, enclosed terrace with stunning views over the beach (please do not leave young children unattended in the garden, as, although enclosed, there are steep drops to one side)
Summer house to enjoy those long evenings.
Shed housing barbeque, garden furniture.

Parking is on road, in front of the cottage, but there tends to be very little traffic as the road ends a few hundred metres further on, at the old stone harbour.

Sandend is a 17th century fishing village, one of the smallest and perhaps one of the most attractive along the Banffshire coast.

It is known by the privileged few as a mecca for surfers and kayakers and occupies a beautiful location opposite a pretty beach, perfect for catching the waves, or just building castles in the sand.
At its east end is the newly re-opened Glenglassaugh Distillery, founded in 1875 and the remains of the Glassaugh Windmill, built in the early 1700s, known locally as the cup and saucer.
