Bryony Cottage is situated on the outskirts of Fowey in the small hamlet of Newtown, enjoying open aspects to the front and rear.
This lovely cottage is full of character with exposed beams and a multi-fuel stove together with additional night storage heating.
From the small front garden, an entrance lobby leads into the sitting - dining room, which is furnished with a two seater sofa, two armchairs and has a TV and DVD player. The oak floored dining area has a table to seat four.
The open plan galley kitchen includes an electric cooker, fridge, microwave and washing machine.
Upstairs you will find a light and airy double bedroom, furnished with a double bed, bedside cabinets and a built in wardrboe.
The second bedroom has a single bed, built in wardrobe and bedside cabinets. The bathroom has a WC, wash basin and a shower over the bath.
The private rear garden features a patio with table and chairs and an additional decked area to enjoy the sun. A hard standing parking space is provided to the rear of the cottage.
Fowey (pronounced Foy) is a small unspoilt harbourside town with a great array of restaurants, pubs and small independent shops, surrounded by magnificent coastal scenery, beaches and small coves to explore.
Close by are the Eden Project and the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Fowey also offers a great base, from which to explore other Cornish gems such as Padstow, Falmouth, the Helford River and St Mawes to name but a few.

From the M5 leave at Junction 31 (Exeter) taking the A30.
After approximately 1 hour leave the A30 at the Bodmin exit following signs for Lostwithiel and the B3268/B3269. Take the B3269 towards Lostwithiel until reaching the T-junction with the A390. Turn right onto the A390. After about 1/2 mile take the 1st exit onto the B3269 and continue for about 5 miles. You will then reach the hamlet of Newtown (a row of 14 cottages). Partway along the row there is a small gap on the left between the cottages (blue cottage to the Fowey side of the gap), which is the narrow lane/driveway that leads to the parking area. Carefully drive to the top of this lane-driveway and parking is to the top left marked Parking for Bryony Cottage. |
