4 star detached cottage sleeping 4 persons ideally placed for exploring The Wye Valley, Vale of Usk and Forest of Dean and only 3 miles from the lively border town of Chepstow, described as the true gateway to Wales.
Situated in its own delightful mature cottage garden, with south facing patio and fabulous views to the surrounding coutryside. There is also a grassed area large enough to kick a football around.
The cottage has been newly decorated and refurbished throughout.
The spacious lounge-dining area has period furniture, and a traditional wood-burning stove, which gives the cottage a truly vintage homely feel.
The fully equipped kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with small freezer box, and a small breakfast table.
Two bedrooms one double the other single, both having plenty of room for a comfortable 'put you up' for a 4th person, to allow flexible sleeping arrangements
The recently modernised bathroom has a bath with overhead shower.

From Chepstow High Beech roundabout take the A466 signposted Monmouth.
At roundabout at Chepstow Racecourse take the B4293 signposted Itton and Devauden. In approx 3 miles you pass the sign of Itton. In approx 40 yards you bear left wich takes you along a shortroad in front of a line of houses. At the end turn left and travel along this road for approx 1/4 mile until you see a house on the right handside facing the road. Monmouthshire cottage is behind. Turn right into the gravelled yard, there is plenty of room. |
