Directions

Lion Cottage is easily found in the small village of Birchover, which is very handy from the A6. From the A6, just take the B5057 east from Darley Dale through to Winster, then head north on the B5056 for a couple of miles, before finally taking the small road 'The Mires' east to Birchover.

Birchover is well-served by public transport: The nearest station is Matlock, and there is a Monday-Saturday bus service (No. 172 bus) from the station to Birchover (stopping about two minutes' walk from Lion Cottage). For a full timetable and additional travel advice, please visit our website.
