Mount Pleasant House is a blue & white end of terrace house built in 1911 on the site of the Old Mount Pleasant House. It has 1 double, 1 zip-link bed for super king or twin option & 2 twin bedded rooms.

The house has been carefully restored maintaining many original features, whilst adding a modern Kitchen/Diner, 2 shower rooms & 1 bathroom.

The front room has comfortable seating for 8 with a 40" 3D LED television, Freesat HD;HDR plus Euro sat for foreign TV channels, 3D Blu-ray Home Cinema System & Nintendo WII games console. There is also WiFi access.

The house has gas central heating with solar power, to provide hot water & cavity wall insulation to ensure the house is warm in winter & cool in summer.

The secure garden at the back of the property, includes a log cabin with Snooker Pool table & Table Football. It has a patio with table & 8 chairs, a small area with astro turf & a BBQ. At the front of the house there is off road parking for 2 cars.

Although we are in town, there is little noise at the back of the house apart from the sound of seagulls. We have green views from the rear of the house & you can see Hastings Castle & the sea from the front bedroom.

The accommodation is within close proximity to the local Alexandra Park, St Helen's Woods and the West & East Hills of Hastings. The Hastings Country Park is only a short drive away, which provides glorious views over the English Channel & is ideal for dog walking.

The property is near to Ore & Hastings Railway Stations, with a frequent service to London (65 miles) & Brighton (40 miles), or to Ashford for connection with the Channel Tunnel & access to the Continent.

The owners live next door & are on hand to assist in any way possible.
£150 security deposit payable in advance, returnable within a week of departure subject to intensive cleaning not being required & no major damage being caused.

Directions

Exit the M25 at junction 5 & join the A21 towards Hastings.
Follow the signs to the sea front.
As you come into Hastings take the left hand turning at roundabout & join the A2101.
At the next roundabout just before you enter the town itself & before going under the railway bridge, turn left into Elphinstone Road.
At the mini roundabout 2nd exit right. You are in Mount Pleasant Road. Pass Sandra's Newsagent and a block of flats, you will see three blue & white terraced houses on the left.
Number 45 is the nearest one, park in the two bays outside the house and collect the keys from number 47.
