Coedmor House was built in the late 18th century as a "Gentleman's Smaller Residence". Located in the Snowdonia National Park it stands in a delightful woodland setting overlooking the Mawddach Estuary, with magnificent views across to the Cadair Idris mountain range.
Coedmor Cottage is detached and set in the gardens of the main house. All on one level, it is centrally heated and provides very comfortable accommodation for two/three people throughout the year.
The entrance hall, with an adjacent shower room, leads to the well equipped kitchen/diner, with an electric stove, fridge and microwave.
Through to the comfortable lounge, there is a wood burning stove and television. From the lounge, the large bedroom, with en-suite bathroom, has a double and a single bed. If required, guests can use the washing machine and tumble dryer in the main house.
Outside is an enclosed patio area, overlooking the gardens, and ample private parking.
Situated two miles from Barmouth on the road to Dolgellau, this is the perfect location for walking, fishing, bird watching or just relaxing. It is within easy reach of sandy beaches and the spectacular scenery of Snowdonia.
We have a second smaller cottage, 'Coedmor Barn' also available at this location.
