Helena Cottage is a stunning 2 bedroom detached cottage located in the picturesque seaside village of Elie very near to St Andrews. With fabulous golden sands, links golf courses and coastal walks, there is plenty to keep everyone happy! Helena Cottage is an ideal holiday base. Situated at the desirable Earlsferry end of Elie, by the golf course and just a minute's walk from the award winning sandy beach, it has been completely refurbished to an exacting standard while retaining its original charm.
The property has free wifi, and the open plan living room/kitchen/diner features solid oak flooring, a corner sofa bed (can sleep 2) and a wallmounted flatscreen digital tv with freeview channels. Wall to wall patio doors open on to the private enclosed courtyard garden which is a real sun trap all day long. Garden furniture is provided to let you enjoy the typically sunny Elie days.
The brand new modern kitchen has gas hob, electric oven, chrome extractor hood, microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, dishwasher, Ipod dock, dining table and chairs for 6 and all you could need. There is a contemporary shower room and a double bedroom leading through to the twin bedroom(both overlook the garden). A small store houses the central heating boiler and washing machine/tumble drier, travel cot and high chair.
There is so much to do in Elie - golf, tennis, bowling, putting, Water Sports Centre, bike hire, Fife Coastal Path, Elie Chain Walk. Ther are also plenty local restaurants, cafes and quaint pubs with beer gardens. Many of our guests return year after year.
