Knotts Farm Holiday Cottages consist of three newly converted self catering cottages on a working farm in the parish of Quernmore. The cottages have a rustic country feel, with modern facilities. An ideal retreat and location for couples or families.

Ideally located within two miles of Lancaster, but within the Forest of Bowland - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Close to Lancaster University and within easy reach of both Junction 33 and 34 of the M6 motorway, also benefitting from being at the gateway to the picturesque Lune Valley. Open all year round.

Our "Clougha View" cottage comprises of double and a twin room therefore sleeps up to 4, and benefits from gas central heating, instant hot water and a wood burning stove. Whirlpool bath plus shower, fully fitted kitchen with a washer / dryer. 4 star rated

Our other two ground floor cottages sleep two and three, and are perfect cosy retreats... One of these units, Knotts View, has been adapted so it is fully accessible for wheelchair users and has been awarded mobility level TWO with a wheelchair friendly wetroom style bathroom.

By Road From Junction 33 of the M6:
On exiting the motorway take the turning sign posted 'LANCASTER'. Pass straight through the village of Galgate. At the second set of traffic lights turn Right, sign posted Alexandra House / Forest Hills. Follow this road straight across a mini roundabout, back under the motorway, straight across two sets of crossroads. At the end of this road (Littlefell Lane) is a 'T' Junction with a wood / forest in front of you. Turn Right and Knotts Farm is on the right, just down the lane.

rom Junction 34 of the M6:
Follow the directions for Caton for roughly 3 miles. On entering the village take the first Right, sign posted Quernmore road, 2.9 miles on this road. Knotts farm is on your Left after passing a phone box and exiting a wooded area.
