Collingwood is situated on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Stromness. It is less than one mile from the ferry which arrives 3 times daily from Scrabster. It commands beautiful panoramic views over Scapa Flow and Stromness.
Collingwood has been recently acquired and has been refurbished to a high standard throughout. It is a spacious 3 bedroomed cottage situated off the main road giving private parking, a large safe garden perfect for children to play in and drying green.
The house contains kitchen/dining room, living room, two double bedrooms and one single bedroom and bathroom.
The living room and master bedroom have a large bay window which look out over the town of Stromness with the beautiful backdrop of the Hoy hills.
In the living room there is an open fire for use in the winter. All three bedrooms are equipped with wardrobes and drawers for storage. There is space in the single bedroom for a cot if required. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. The kitchen/dining room has been newly refurbished to a high standard and is fully equipped with a washing machine, fridge, cooker and microwave.
The house is heated throughout with electric storage heaters and a coal fire for winter use. There is a large entrance hall which is useful for storing coats, boots, buggies etc.
The local amenities include a swimming pool, health club, squash club and a football pitch.
Baby equipment is available if required.
