Wroxham Holidays offer a prime riverside holiday cottage, for self catering holidays or short breaks, suitable for families or fishing parties.
Wherry is situated right on the banks of the river Bure in the centre of Wroxham, the capital of the Norfolk Broads. It enjoys good views of the main river from all rooms.
One of an elite group of cottages set in the Peninsula Cottage Marina, originally operated by Moore and Co. it is now privately owned.
The cottage is only a short walk to the centre of this bustling village, with shops, restaurants, carvery, takeaways, pubs, and an old steam railway.
The cottage is suitable for a family of four, it comprises two bedrooms (twin and double), newly refurbished kitchen-dining room, living room and newly refurbished bathroom with shower and bath.
A new three piece suite and new double bedroom suite was added June 2009. The cottage has its own private patio with superb views of the river. There is an on-site Bistro and bar
Please note that though property does not have electric central heating, a thematically controlled electric radiator controls each room.
Day-boats are available within a short walk, and can be kept on your mooring right outside the cottage. The location is perfect for visiting the City of Norwich and the Norfolk coastline, with Cromer, Sheringham, and Great Yarmouth all within 15 miles.
