A new luxury converted detached stone barn within the grounds of a former farm with views across surrounding countryside. Situated on the edge of Haldon Forest and 5 miles from the beaches of Teignmouth and Shaldon and a short drive to Dartmoor National Park
The Granary consists a large open plan living/dining/kitchen area (30ft x 14ft) with views across the surrounding countryside and farmland. Two sofas (one of which converts into a double bed), CD player, DVD player, satellite TV, dining table and chairs, new fitted kitchen with ceramic hob, oven, microwave and new crockery/cutlery, vaulted ceiling over.
Wooden staircase down to open plan sleeping area with mahogany single sleigh/daybed and second pull-out bed beneath, doorway to main bedroom with double bed, built in wardrobe, TV, country views.
Shower-room, with walk in 'wet area' and luxury fittings, heated towel rail and limestone tiling. Towels provided.
The Granary has luxury fittings throughout with solid oak doors, double glazed oak windows, oak floors, underfloor heating and Eco-friendly ground source heating.
Private decked outside with seating/BBQ area, trampoline and shared use of large outside garden laid to lawn. Parking outside for two cars.
Sleeps 4 comfortably.
Children welcomed.
Chudleigh is situated at the southern end of the Teign valley, close 8 miles from the cathedral city of Exeter and close to the market town of Newton Abbot. The area boasts a good number of country pubs and restaurants, numerous golf courses including two championship courses, the red sand beaches of Teignmouth and Shaldon, the dunes of Dawlish Warren and the nearby beaches of Torbay.
Dartmoor National Park is a 15 minute drive away with it's many walks and attractions. As a 'holiday area' South Devon is well catered with a wide array of tourist attractions and family entertainment for all weathers.
