A large, traditional stone-built cottage in the charming Forest of Dean village of Pillowell. Located on the edge of the forest the cottage is surrounded on 3 sides by gardens, with a pleasent outdoor dining area.
There are 5 bedrooms (4 double, 1 twin) and 2 bathrooms, one of which is ensuite. An enormous lounge (with piano, TV and DVD) opens onto the well-equipped kitchen and breakfast-room with dishwasher, double oven, microwave, fridge and fridge-freezer. A separate utility room houses a washer-dryer. A games-room includes a full-size table tennis table.
The cottage is ideally located for exploration of the forest and its numerous amenities, including cycle hire and a family bike trail (2 miles away), kayaking, canoeing, fishing and birdwatching on the river Wye (4 miles). It is also within easy reach of Tintern abbey (7 miles) and the historic town of Chepstow (12 miles).
There is a double garage withi additonal off-street parking for a further 2 cars.
