Selsey Beach House is situated only 10 yards from the sea, with direct access to the beach; the house offers superb panoramic views of the sea and Isle of Wight, from the garden and through the large windows and patio doors, which open on to a decked area, ideal for enjoying an aperitif, while watching the sunset.

On the Ground Floor: The Lounge has a wood-burning stove (fuel for the stove is available locally), DVD/CD player and radio.

There is a dining room and kitchen, with a gas cooker, microwave and washing machine.

There are Two bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin with en-suite shower. The bathroom has a shower over bath, toilet and basin; there is also a separate toilet.

From the kitchen there are stairs leading to a roof room containing 2 single beds, this room enjoys views over the sea.

Selsey has shops, pubs and restaurants, some serving freshly caught fish.

Chichester Marina is close by, as is Pagham Nature Reserve - a haven for birds and wildlife.

Chichester, with its Cathedral, tea rooms, boutiques, cinema complex and the Chichester Festival Theatre, and Goodwood/Fontwell Race Course are about 15 minutes drive away.

The picturesque village of Bosham has tea rooms and an antiques emporium.

At Arundel you can visit Arundel Castle and Gardens, or the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust.

Local Services: Selsey is situated on a peninsula jutting out into the English Channel about eight miles south of Chichester. A small Town that retains its history, the unique Selsey community spirit and the Selsey fishing fleet. Selsey has much to offer visitors of all ages: walks along the sea wall; a visit to the Selsey Lifeboat Station and Museum; windsurfing and diving; a wide range of restaurants, cafes, bars and public houses and shopping parades in Selsey High Street and East Beach and during the summer months a variety of fetes, carnivals and shows.

Directions

By Car:
From the A27 south of Chichester follow the B2145 for Selsey.
At the 'Selsey Gate' roundabout take the second exit.
Follow road for about a mile and a take right into Clayton Road and then 2nd left into Danefield Road - drive to No 12 at the end.

By Public Transport:
Frequent trains from London to Chichester and very regular local buses from Chichester, stopping at the end of Clayton Road, two minutes walk to the house.
