Welcome to Acorn Cottage, a comfortable, well equipped, sunlit, self catering holiday cottage, with views over to Ingleborough, offering accomodation for between 1 and 5 guests in 3 bedrooms.
The holiday cottage is ideally situated in the spectacular Three Peaks countryside, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales, in the picturesque village of Ingleton but within easy reach of the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, the Lake District and the Forest of Bowland.
The local area has excellent walking, cycling, climbing, fishing and caving opportunities including the famous Ingleton Waterfalls Walk. Ingleton is also a great base for a self-catering child-friendly family holiday as there are lots of activities and local outings that children will enjoy.
The hosts are pleased to share their extensive local knowledge of these outdoor and family activities.
There is off-street parking and lockable bike storage.
The accommodation is in a quiet location backing onto the village cricket pitch yet within a short walk to all the amenities of the picturesque village of Ingleton.
These include: cafes, food, outdoor and craft shops, an award-winning butchers, several good food-serving pubs, a climbing wall and an open air swimming pool.
Short breaks and discounts for couples off-peak offered.
