Nunland is a small, privately owned holiday park set in the grounds of a traditional Scottish gentleman's estate.
Less than 5 miles from Dumfries, a market town with extensive facilities, Nunland makes an ideal centre for all types of holiday.
Galloway Lodges:
Each lodge sleeps a maximum of 4.
These attractive pine ‘A-frame’ chalets have a lounge with veranda, kitchen, and shower-room; a double bedroom and one room with 2 full size bunk beds.
Each lodge has a lovely view over the surrounding hills.
Farm Cottage:
Sleeps 2 to 5.
This delightful cottage has a cosy lounge, dining-kitchen and bathroom on the ground floor.
Upstairs there is a twin room and a double room with an extra divan.
Adjacent to the main house, the cottage has views over Nunland Hill.
Barn Cottages:
Each cottage sleeps a maximum of 2.
The 3 cottages are very comfortable with open plan sitting room and kitchen and a patio window with extensive rural views.
Upstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite shower room.
Solway Lodge:
Sleeps 4.
The lodge has been awarded 4 stars by the Scottish Tourist Board.
The accommodation comprises a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, bathroom, lounge, dining room and kitchen.
The energetic will find miles of cycle paths in nearby Mabie forest and beyond, golf courses aplenty, game and course fishing, and some magnificent walking. At a more leisurely pace, there are beautiful castles, historic monuments and gardens to visit and explore.

From the M6/A74 near Gretna:
Follow the A75, which bypasses Dumfries to the north, signed to Stranraer. Still on the A75, approx. 3miles beyond (west of) Dumfries the road becomes dual carriageway for just over 1mile. At the end of this dual carriageway there is a small roundabout signed Lochfoot to the left. There are also brown tourist signs for Nunland. Follow these, turning left and then immediately left again. |
