Our Cottages sit alongside fields where sheep and cows graze, retaining the open countryside atmosphere of their farming background; yet still conveniently located on the outskirts of the historic and picturesque market town of Pickering, whose centre is only fifteen minutes walk away.

The North York Moors (Heartbeat and Harry Potter country), Yorkshire's heritage coastal resorts of Scarborough, Whitby, Filey and the Historic City of York are within a short drive.

Our tasteful conversion of traditional stone buildings set around a secluded courtyard and large gardens, which retain much of their original rustic character with open beamed ceilings, traditional stone fireplaces and pan tile roofs.

Nine cottages in all, each with their own charm from six single storey, two two storey to one "upside down" will comfortably accommodate from 2 up to 8 people.

The cottages have full central heating and double-glazing and are furnished with the emphasis on comfort and relaxation. They are spacious, tastefully decorated and fitted with coordinated quality fabrics. Three cottages have four-poster beds. The kitchens are fully equipped, including; filter coffee makers, toasters, conventional and microwave ovens, fridge freezer and some have a dishwasher and washing machine.

Pickering has many tourist attractions including the world famous North York Moors Steam railway, medieval castle, Museum of rural life, a superb indoor swimming pool within a 5 minute drive, as well as a chance to sample a variety of fine local and ethnic foods, wines and real ales.

Take time to relax on spectacular rolling hills with heather clad moorland, woodland and forest or visit some of the finest stately homes, castles, museums, theme parks, zoo, working farms and breweries or be energetic - go rambling, cycling, horse riding, quad biking, fishing or play golf.
