Kingslake is situated in the heart of the beautiful Devon countryside, along a private drive. We also have stone built cottages and wooden lodges enjoying a tranquil rural atmosphere.

The camping, caravan area is sheltered by trees and hedges and overlooks three of seven fishing lakes. Footpaths go through the 124 acres of private meadows and woodlands where deer and over 40 species of birds have been spotted. Enjoy the abundance of wildlife and coarse fishing in a peaceful, idyllic setting.

Kingslake is a safe environment for children with plenty of space to explore; they can try the nine hole golf, feed the rabbits and ponies, make sandcastles, play on the swings and climbing frame while the adults relax and tend the barbecue.

Kingslake is in a central location for easy travelling to many of Devon and Cornwall's places of interest: good inns and shop within 3 miles, the market towns of Hatherleigh and Holsworthy are 15 minutes drive with Bude's superb sandy beaches 30 minutes. Okehampton and Dartmoor are close, or visit the Eden project for the day. Walk or cycle along the Tarka trail or in the adjoining Cookworthy forest.
