The campsite is situated on the shoreline overlooking Stromness, one mile west of the pier head and ferry.

The site provides dramatic views over towards the hills of Hoy. Located in a quiet location with a shoreline walk from the site.

Stromness is a small picturesque town which has many interesting shops, cafes and restaurants.

Many leisure facilities are available close by including fishing, sea angling and sailing. There is also golf course, children's playground, bowling green and leisure centre near by.
