Zeacombe House Caravan Park lies on the Devon/Somerset border, 5 miles south of Dulverton on the fringes of Exmoor National park.
This 'Adults Only' 4.5 acre level park (set in 2 enclosures) offers quality, comfort and tranquillity with extra large pitches. We are licensed for 70 pitches; we have reduced the number to 50 giving extra space to all.
The Park is set with trees and rockeries and encompassed by ancient and beautiful beech hedging. Well kept lawns (grass is picked up) and hardstandings with tarmac road leading to the pitches.
Modern shower block (all free) showers, en-suit (in ladies), private cubicles in both. Vanity area in ladies. Hair dryers, hot water to sinks. Heated.
Laundry and washing-up area inside. Heated.
Evening Meal Service.
An extensive menu is on offer for those that want a meal without the fuss and bother of shopping and cooking giving more time to relax and enjoy their holiday.
The meals are served on hot plates, covered and placed on a tray for you to pick up at the time of your choice, take back to your pitch, and then just bring us the dirty dishes when you have finished. Simple!
We allow a max of 3 dogs per unit. All dogs to be tethered or on a lead on the park, toileted in our very clean and mown dog exercise area (like the rest of the park, we pick up the grass) You may let your dog off the lead in this area. There is a low light on at night; you will need a torch for 'picking up'. There is a bench for you to sit on whilst your dog/s exercise.
North Devon has a wealth of gardens, parks and National Trust properties to visit, as well as the vast and beautiful moor with breathtaking views.
The market towns and villages are a pleasure to visit; their relaxed way of life only enhances a pleasurable and relaxing holiday.
Within easy reach there is Fishing, Horse riding and golf. For those that like to cycle there are many cycle paths and indeed places to hire bikes.
