Connected to Dorset only by a Road Bridge and the famous Chesil Beach, this 'Gibralar of the Channel' first became a holiday venue with King George III and Queen Charlotte who made annual visits " To delight in the different beauties of this romantic spot".

Explore by foot or horseback and discover the secrets of this rural paradise. Find a sculpture park, fossil trees and cave shelters, tunnels, rare flowers and birds and a myriad of butterflies.

From the comfort of your holiday home you can watch fishing while boats and ferries ply their daily trade, or glimpse the sleek, grey shadows of naval ships on the horizon.

Cove Park, nestling in the former grounds od a Royal Castle is situated in the lee of the island.

The park offers a real peace haven.
