Perth has a popular pedestrianised High Street with good shopping and numerous coffee shops and there are plenty of things to do in the area, from fishing to golf and some wonderful hillwalking, or for day trips Perth is perfectly placed for visiting St Andrews, Dundee, Aberfeldy, Crieff and Pitlochry.
St Andrews is famous for being the home of golf and having Scotland's first university, Dundee for jam, jute and journalism.
Places of interest that are close to Ordie View include Scone Palace and Gardens, Stanley Mills, Blair Castle and Gardens and Blair Athol Distillery, Edradour Distillery, Glamis Castle, Pitlochry Theatre, Perth Concert Hall and The Famous Grouse Experience.
the Georgian Gothic style Scone Palace was the crowning place of the King's of the Scots and Glamis Castle was the childhood home of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon who married King George VI and became the Queen Mother. Stanley Mills was powered by the River Tay and mostly produced cotton.
We are about an hour's drive away from Edinburgh and Glasgow which have good bus and rail links to Perth and on the road to Inverness which takes about 2 hours by car.
We are in a rural location but only 3 Miles from Perth, a local bus takes about 15 minutes to the centre of the city. There are good local restaurants, one in the village or others that are a short drive away as well as a big choice in Perth.
We have two double/twin bedrooms with
en-suite facilities and a family room with separate bathroom. All bedrooms have colour televisions, tea and coffee making facilities and WiFi internet access is also available. There is also a free to use internet station.
We are child friendly and accept pets by prior arrangement.
