Top Parts B&B is in a peaceful rural location yet only five minutes drive from the beach and Jurassic coast at Abbotsbury. Situated on the downs at the head of The Bride Valley the B&B offers a perfect opportunity to get away from it all in a beautiful place. Within a short walk of the B&B there is an iron age hill fort at Danish Camp and a nature reserve at The valley of Stones. There are many fabulous circular walks for different abilities direct from the B&B door and the South-West Coast Path can be joined a short distance away.
Approached via a long private track the accommodation is arranged in a recently converted period stable building and comprises of two double or twin rooms - both en-suite - with a communal breakfast/evening room for use by guests. The accommodation is clean, contemporary and airy yet maintains its period character. Many of our guests have commented on how comfortable the beds are and on a number of occasions have asked what type they are and from where we bought them! Jo and Jasper Shackleton, the proprietors, have high standards and stick rigidly to this regime. Outside there is a sitting area in the courtyard for guests to enjoy.
Breakfast, which is an important element of your stay, is served at a time that suits you and is freshly prepared from good quality ingredients. For your enjoyment the breakfast menu is altered on a daily basis to reduce repartition. Where possible food items are organic and sourced locally and for much of the year our own eggs, marmalade and jams from the garden are served. Special dietary requirements can be catered for provided we have details in advance.
Whatever you want to do during your stay; whether it is walking in unspoilt countryside, spending time on the beach, exploring the Jurassic coast or just relaxing, Top Parts B&B is well positioned and within easy reach of everything that is Dorset at its best.
