Burnside Lodge is a converted fishing house offering bed and breakfast accommodation, nature tours and shooting trips on a bespoke basis throughout the year.

The Isle of Islay, 'Queen of the Hebrides', is situated in the Southern Hebrides with views of Northern Ireland, which lies 30 miles away.

Islay boasts nine working distilleries, literary and jazz festivals amongst other events - even including it's own half marathon!

Port Wemyss and it's sister village Portnahaven, boast a traditional village shop, regular bus service and one of the best pubs on the island and rapidly changing weather, sandy beach, traffic free roads and an abundance of wildlife.
