The Pines Guest House is an impressive Victorian mansion attractively situated in it's own grounds in the historic east end of Elgin.
The Pines has six rooms including 1 standard and 3 King Size doubles and 1 twin and a family room. The rooms are spacious and tastefully furnished and all rooms, including the popular king size antique 4-poster, are fully equipped with en-suite facilities, tea and coffee hospitality tray, colour television, radio and hair dryer.
For the added comfort of guests The Pines is a non-smoking establishment.
The impressive dining room offers full Scottish breakfasts with local products to prepare guests for a day of touring in the Moray area.
Situated at the center of the three major tourism "trails" dedicated to golf, castles and whisky distilleries, the ancient City of Elgin is an ideal base, from which to tour the Highland and Grampian regions of Scotland.
Set on the main A96 road between Inverness and Aberdeen, with on-site parking facilities, it is only a five minute walk from the city centre.
Known as the "Mediterranean of the North" the Moray Firth area boasts the best weather in the British Isles. Its beaches are clean and never crowded and may offer you a glimpse of one of the resident bottlenosed dolphins!
Throughout the season there are numerous events and festivals for visitors and locals to enjoy, such as The Spirit of Speyside Whisky Festival, or a walking festival
With international airports at both Inverness and Aberdeen, The Pines is easily accessible from anywhere in the world. Elgin is also well served by trains from the south and by an efficient regional bus service.
The Pines combines Victorian elegance with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Charles, Helen and family look forward to welcoming you!
