There is a special welcome at our peaceful friendly farmhouse set amidst the beautiful Cornish countryside; it is secluded, yet just a short 10 minutes stroll to St Mabyn village.
Treglown House was originally owned by Lord Falmouth. It is situated between the towns of Bodmin and Wadebridge and an ideal base from which to explore all that North and Mid Cornwall has to offer:
Surfing at Polzeath, water sports at Rock, safe bathing at Daymer Bay, cycling the Camel Trail to Padstow, Tintagel Castle, as well as the beautiful houses and gardens of Pencarrow, Lanydrock and Heligan.
The Eden Project is only 30 minutes away. Golf, fishing and riding are all nearby, with two excellent sports centres at Wadebridge and Bodmin.
On arrival at our 19th century home, guests are welcomed with a cup of tea/coffee and biscuits, or if requested a Cornish cream tea, served either in our peaceful garden, or in the sitting room with its welcoming log fire.
Our substantial breakfasts include, our own free range rare breed Tamworth bacon and sausage and eggs from our happy hens.
There is a games room with table tennis, bar billiards, bar skittles and darts.
Well behaved dogs are welcome at Treglown House
We have 3 bedrooms - The Daphne du Maurier double en-suite with sofa bed, a twin bedded en-suite, and a single room with private bathroom. All rooms have TV, radio/alarms, hairdryers and a refreshments tray. Fresh flowers and a selection of books are in each room.
Our sitting room has a welcoming log fire on chilly days and a selection of games and jigsaws.
