Fern Villa is a family run, spacious 130 year old Victorian villa, set in three quarters of an acre of mature gardens near Fishguard, Wales.

We offer comfortable and affordable 4 star bed and breakfast accommodation, with beautiful views of the North Pembrokeshire coastline and countryside .

Fern Villa has single, double, twin and family rooms, all en-suite, with the single room have a large private bathroom.

We are a two minute drive (or a 5-10 minute walk) from the ferry terminal in Fishguard Harbour, which provides daily links to and from Ireland. The railway station is also located here.

Fern Villa is a two minute walk from the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path and if you want to explore the local area, there is a bus stop nearby, which will take you to St. David's, Newport, Cardigan and many other local attractions.

EuroCar and Hertz Rentals are also within walking distance.

Fern Villa is situated in the village of Goodwick (pronounced Goodik), which was once just a cluster of fishermen's cottages.

There is plenty to see and do, so why not explore the narrow streets and cliff paths and take in the glorious views over the coastline; if you are lucky you may spot a grey seal or even a dolphin or porpoise.

There are pubs and restaurants within walking distance, which serve freshly cooked meals using local produce.

If you feel like relaxing head for Goodwick Sands and the Parrog, where you can watch the world go by.

You can also walk into Fishguard from Fern Villa via the Coastal Marine Walk, which gives you lovely views of the Pembrokeshire Coast line and takes about 25 minutes (1 mile.)

Fishguard is a small market town and is famous for the last invasion of Britain in 1797; it also provides further places to eat and explore, including a range of quaint shops and restaurants.

Lower Fishguard Harbour is worth a visit and has featured in a number of films such as Under Milkwood; the picturesque harbour is a must see and cannot fail to leave an impresssion.

Goodwick is within a 20 minute driving distance of St Davids (famous for its magnificent Cathedral) and the market towns of Haverfordwest and Cardigan.

There are also golden sandy beaches and hidden coves close by, often only known by the locals, but we will be happy to direct you to them.
