Cormiston Farm is a family run bed and breakfast surrounded by the rolling hills of the Clyde Valley. It lies within 2 acres of mature garden and woodland, some two miles from the town of Biggar and is listed by Historic Scotland.
There are two large double bedrooms, overlooking the hills to the south. The largest bedroom has a super king size four-poster; both have private bathrooms.
A sitting room is available where you can relax in front of a log fire on chilly days.
A full Scottish breakfast is included in the price: fresh seasonal fruit, porridge, free range eggs, bacon, sausage and a variety of black/white puddings; home-made marmalade, jams and preserves, and the finest teas and coffee.
Dinner, if required, is usually at 8.00pm, and is a seasonal four-course set meal. Much of the produce is from the walled kitchen garden or from local markets. The emphasis is on local ingredients cooked in a simple way. We have a small but select wine list.
Children of all ages are always welcome. A family room is available.
All major credit and debit Cards accepted.

From the M74 Exit at Junction 13
Follow the signs to BIGGAR on the A702. Pass through the village of COULTER. Turn left off the A702 up the hill at the sign to CORNHILL HOUSE. Follow this small road until you come to a crossroads with a STOP sign. Go straight over the main road, into Cormiston Road. Carry on along this road, up a steep hill. As you pass over the top of the hill you will see a sign for CATTLE. Turn left through black iron gates, over a cattle grid, into the drive of Cormiston Farm, just before the black and white sign saying CORMISTON. |
