Rigg House is a family run, farmhouse B&B set on the Rigg Estate, just outside of Kirkconnel on the A76. A very warm welcome awaits you.

Rooms are en-suite and packed lunches can usually be provided on request.

The Rigg Estate is set in approximately 3000 acres, comprising of two ponds, woodland and young plantations; the river Nith runs through it.

Walking, canoeing and gold panning are all available nearby and this area is a photographer's paradise with wildlife abounding.

Also on offer locally is a variety of country activities such as stalking, fishing on the river Nith, or a good long healthy walk.

There are several golf courses close to the Rigg, including Sanquhar and Thornhill, the latter being Andrew Coulthard's home course, to which visitors are most welcome or if you just want a good rest with beautiful scenery in a lovely old house, this is the place to come.

See you soon!
