Heathy Lea is a beautiful grade II listed building tucked away in the north east corner of the Chatsworth Estate in the Derbyshire Peak District National Park.
The property dates back to the 17th Century and over the years has seen many uses including gamekeepers cottage, smallholding, and more recently the home to the Duke of Devonshire's agent. It has now however been converted into a holiday accomodation centre offering luxury bed and breakfast and self catering accomodation.
Situated just off one of the main access roads to the Peak District and only 20minutes drive from the MI it is a superb base for further exploration of one of Englands most beautiful areas.
Herds of Red and Fallow deer graze in the park in front of Heathy Lea and there is direct access into the 1100 acres of parkland from the property. Chatsworth house itself is a 5 min drive away or alternatively a 20min walk through the parkland.
There are two double and one twin room available. The rooms are all ensuite with TV/DVD tea and coffee making facilities. They are furnished to the highest standards and each has superb views over the parkland and the hills beyond.
The property has been designed to ensure maximum guest privacy and comfort with a separate entrance, patio and car parking.
