Virginia Cottage is a friendly traditional guest house close to the shores of Lake Windermere, offering bed and breakfast accommodation.

It is surrounded by a wide variety of shops and restaurants, and traditional pubs offering a comprehensive selection of locally brewed ales.

All our guest rooms are en-suite and some have views over the village and surrounding fells.

We have double or four poster rooms and a four poster suite, all including a fridge, TV with DVD player, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.

Pets are welcome in specified rooms.

Our wish is to provide quality yet homely accommodation exclusively for couples.

Leisure facilities are available at the Old England Spa, including the swimming pool, gymnasium, sauna, and (at additional charge) the beauty salon.

We provide a traditional English breakfast as well as lighter alternatives, including vegetarian options.
