Garfield guest house is a family-run business offering a home from home feeling and a warm and friendly atmosphere to help you enjoy your stay. It is owned by Richard Field who always extend a warm welcome to his guests.
He pride's himself by providing a friendly and inviting atmosphere to the establishment, high standards of cleanliness throughout, the feeling of relaxation and enjoyment, the freshly cooked, hearty breakfasts and that fact that many guests are regular visitors who return many times.
Garfield is a small guest house and is ideally situated on the sea front with ample free on street parking within the immediate vicinity. We are within easy access to local amenities and Eastbourne's well liked shopping area.
All rooms are pleasantly decorated and offer that 'homely' feel. Each room is en-suit, has tea & coffee making facilities plus biscuit snacks, soft drinks for children, colour TV.
Pets are welcome by arrangement and you have access at all times with your own keys.
Eastbourne
Eastbourne is a Victorian, seaside town renowned for its long hours of sunshine and the popularity of its scenic gardens. With 5 miles of level promenade to stroll along, you can enjoy the carpet gardens, the pier and an award winning marina with waterside restaurants. It's surrounded by stunning countryside and the popular South Downs, enjoyed by ramblers and the occasional strollers. There are many scenic areas of beauty for all ages.
Eastbourne has many children's delights not only along its promenade but offers many attractions within a short distance of the town. The renowned Treasure Island is directly opposite Garfield Guest House
There are many special events throughout the season as well as the traditional daily music events at the bandstand including the weekly 1812 overture event concluding with a firework finale.
Eastbourne is a popular seaside resort that has that infectious appeal that makes you want to come back again.
Restaurants and clubs
Eastbourne offers a fine selection of international style cuisine including Greek, Italian, Mexican, American, Chinese, Thai, Indian and Turkish. Plus, the traditional English fish and chip restaurants.
Fancy a traditional pub meal where children are welcome? Pop into one of our many pubs that provide a varied menu in pleasant surroundings.
As well as the many night clubs for the young at heart, within 2 minutes walk of Garfield is the Fisherman's Club which welcomes temporary members and is also family friendly. It offers very competitive prices for its beers, wines and spirits. Every Saturday there is live entertainment to dance to or just sit and relax in pleasant surroundings.

Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
Same prices all year round: I don't increase my prices for certain special events, ie. International tennis week, airbourne, children's holiday period. From £32.00 to £34.00 per person, per night. Children under 4 free, 4-16yrs £15.00 per child per night. Open all year round. |

By Car
Follow directions to sea front, then follow signs to Treasure Island. We are located slightly set back from the main coast road, behind the garden opposite Treasure Island and adjacent to Beamsley road. By train If not taking a taxi, the best way to walk (20 mins) is turn left out of the stations, walk through the town centre to the sea front. Turn left along the sea front until reach Treasure Island, We are directly opposite Treasure island. |
