It is located in Cornwall at the gateway of the Roseland, five miles from Truro and eight miles from St Austell. We're pretty well at the centre of Cornwall: 20 minutes drive to either coast, St Mawes and Newquay. Padstow is 30 minutes drive, Mevagissey approximately 10 minutes. This is proprietor Nigel's favourite spot - "I like to sit there with a bag of chips on the quay and watch the Harbour Lights flickering in the water in this beautiful little fishing village".
Plymouth is one hour's drive; Lands End is also approximately one hour's drive.
Orchard Manor will best suit those who appreciate quality and are looking for a quiet relaxing and rejuvenating holiday - the whole of your stay could easily be spent at Orchard Manor but equally it offers an ideal base for those wishing to tour and sight-see. Orchard Manor is ideally situated to explore all the many in lovely gardens including Trewithen Gardens, Heligan Gardens, the world famous Eden Project and stunning National Trust properties as well as the unspoilt countryside and coast.

Disabled Facilities: There are disabled facilities. The Bluebell apartment suite is situated on the ground floor and has wheelchair access, making it suitable for disabled guests, wheelchair
users and those with reduced mobility. There is a balcony with beautiful views over the surrounding countryside. This suite has a double bed, an en suite bathroom with power shower and bidet, a marble floor, a separate lounge and French doors with beautiful views out over the open countryside. The suite has an external door with access to the balcony. The suite has a 50-inch colour TV with Freeview digital channels. Tea, coffee, milk and orange juice are provided free of charge, and there may be a chocolate bar in the fridge if you are lucky. This will, of course, be with our compliments.
