As well as one of the largest collections of engines in Europe - varying in size from desktop to 100 tons! - it has changing exhibitions and events throughout the year. See our website for details of the events and exhibitions.

We will open outside normal dates and times for pre-booked tours & groups, including evenings.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday 10:00 - 17:00 from Easter Sunday until end of October.Other dates and times (including evenings) for group visits by arrangement. Engines run most days the museum is open (please check if travelling long distances). |
