Stromness Museum was instituted in 1837 and holds Orkney's principal Maritime, Ethnographic and Natural History Collections.
Birds and eggs, mammals, butterflies and moths, shells and fossils are on display in the Victorian gallery.
Maritime history explores whaling, fishing, shipping, the Hudson Bay Company and the German Fleet in Scapa Flow.
