A truly fascinating collection of exhibits is displayed in the original Victorian workhouse, beautifully illustrating the life and history of our Dalesfolk. It reflects the life of ordinary people in an imaginative series of
displays including a complete Cobbler's Shop, General Store, Victorian Parlour, Kitchen and Schoolroom, Chemist's, Habberdasher's, Joiner's Shop and Solicitor's Office.
The Museum is situated on one level on the first floor. A stairlift is available.
