The Guernsey Folk and Costume Museum is situated in beautifully restored outbuildings with paved courtyard of a Guernsey stately home in the beautiful Saumarez Park.
Run by the National Trust of Guernsey, the Folk and Costume Museum has been expanded and refurbished during the closed season. It is now over 30% bigger than last season and now comprises:period farmhouse kitchen; Town House parlour; Victorian school room, play room and bedroom, wash house, dairy, cart room with various carts and carriages, plough room with various ploughs and other agricultural implements; trades and tools room; fishermen's display area with fishing boat, shack and other fishing equipment; cider barn; two new large areas displaying costumes relating to Guernsey from 1751 to 1950; new area showing the history of the Guernsey Tomato Industry as well as other items on display in the courtyard.General Information:
