This house is one of Britain's most important examples of Modernist architecture; the former home of Ernö Goldfinger and designed and built by him in 1939. It is also filled with furniture designed by Goldfinger.
The art collection includes a number of significant 20th-century works by Bridget Riley, Max Ernst and Henry Moore among others. This property is owned by The National Trust.
What's new in 2006: 10th anniversary events and exhibitions. 'Life at 2 Willow Road' tours at 12.00pm each Saturday. British Sign Language interpreted tour at 7.00pm on 23rd June - contact property to book. No additional charge.

Places limited, but no booking required. Non-guided visits 3.00pm - 5.00pm Introductory film shown at intervals throughout the afternoon. Also late opening on first Thursday of each month April to October. Evening tours at 5.00pm and 6.00pm free-flow 7.00pm - 9.00pm (Please note: NOT OPEN 12.00pm - 5.00pm on those days) |
