Elmfield was built in the 1830s and now offers luxury bed and breakfast facilities.

It is an ideal centre for visiting Dartmoor, the north and south coasts of Devon and only 25 minutes from Cornwall.

Golf, fishing and riding facilities are on the doorstep plus a myriad of walks for a totally relaxing break in peace and tranquillity.

The local Inn is 75 yards away and is famed for meals and local beers.

Plenty of National Trust properties are nearby as well as the market towns of Hatherleigh and Okehampton.

A little further afield are the cities of Exeter and Plymouth - the latter being the home of the Theatre Royal - probably the best regional theatre in the country.

Pricing and Opening Times

Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter. Tariff is the same throughout the year £30 per person per night. £35 pppn in the ensuite room. Reductions for stays of three nights or more.

Directions

From the East use the A30 and take the first exit for Okehampton. Go straight through the town turning neither left or right and as you come up the hill from the town Northlew is signposted. Elmfield is just off the village square. Travelling by train? We will collect you from Exeter St David's station for the price of the petrol.
