Brympton House was described by Christopher Hussay writing in Country Life as the 'most beautiful house in England', an apt description for a glorious Grade 1 listed Stately Home that was last open to the public in 1992.
Owned by a charitable trust - who run educational courses from the venue -Brympton House offers a number of comfortable bedrooms, all of which are en-suite.
Bed and breakfast is normally only available during the week [and some selected weekends in the off season], as the trust funds its activites by hiring the house as a wedding venue.
The bedrooms offered are contained within the medieval D'Evercy Tower, which is accessed by a twisting turret [and so not suitable for guests with mobility problems] and Home farm - where the rooms although on the ground floor - are still accessed by 5 steps.
Breakfast is served in the medieval Star Chamber and guests have full access to the estate grounds - which won The Chrisities Garden of the Year Award.
