Redlands Farm, set in an acre of the beautiful Warwickshire countryside was a "new Build" about the time when Charles 1st and Oliver Cromwell were having a battle at Edge Hill three miles away in 1642.
The actual building date is unknown but we have our own "Priest Hole" so it must be early 1600s.
Things have improved, we now have running water, en-suite bathrooms and an outdoor swimming pool however the elm beams and stone walls remain.
In modern times the AA have awarded us 4 stars and we are well placed for visits to The Heritage Motor Centre (three miles), Moreton Morrell Agricultural College (three miles) The Warwickshire Exhibition Centre), Warwick Castle (six miles) and Stratford upon Avon (ten miles).
We are very close to the Aston Martin Factory and Jaguar/Land Rover works at Gaydon (two miles).
We have mid week rates for long stay visitors.
For the Culture buffs we are well placed for places of historic Interest; Baddesley Clinton(more Priest Holes), Compton Verney (art), Charlecote Park (Deer), Kenilworth castle and Sulgrave Manor (George Washington's Ancestors home)
