The interior is comfortable, elegantly furnished, beautiful wood panelled sitting room leading to paved secluded gardens for you to enjoy over a glass of wine.

There are fields at the rear of the house.

Each bedroom is individually decorated and offers radio, tea / coffee making facilities, complimentary morning newspaper of your choice.

Breakfast is served between 7am and 9am in the dining room with its Yorkstone floor / Inglenook fireplace (underfloor heating in winter and log fires).

My kitchen uses local sourced free-range eggs and locally sourced bread, sausages, bacon and local mushrooms in season cooked on the Rayburn for a full English or a Continental of your choice including homemade marmalade and preserves.

    Vegetarians welcome of course.

Guests may choose their own time for arrival, departure and breakfast.

It is your time and I want to make you feel as welcome and relaxed as I can.

This is an attractive village in an area where you may be lucky enough to see red kites in our skies. a

There can be few more pleasant experiences than a summer evening sitting in the garden watching and listening to swallows and martins, sheep and cows in the adjacent field and bells ringing in the nearby St Nicholas Church.

Bell Ringing Practice takes place at St Nicholas, Bulwick every Wednesday from 7.30 pm to 9.00 pm.

The ringers ring a wide variety of methods from Plain Hunt Doubles to London Surprise Minor.

Visitors are very welcome in the church.

The Village has an excellent pub within two minutes walking distance: The Queen's Head recently under new management, where you will be warmly received by Nick and his team.

Other restaurants for you to choose from are situated in the surrounding villages such as Southwick, Duddington and Harringworth and towns such as Uppingham, Oundle, Stamford and Corby.

I am happy to book restaurants and arrange local taxis for you should you need them.
