HILLSIDE is a modern B+B set in the rural area of Auchterawe, two miles from the Highland village of Fort Augustus, Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal.

On our doorstep are woodland and river walks and we are situated not far from the route of the Great Glen Way.

The surrounding woodlands are home to a multitude of birds and we are occasionally visited by deer, red squirrels, pinemartens and birds of prey.

We can offer a choice of three rooms, a double room with en-suite shower room and a twin and single with private shower room.

All rooms have been decorated to a high standard and have colour television, hair dryer, towels and hospitality tray.

A full cooked breakfast is served using local produce where possible.

Breakfast is served in our spacious dining room with open views over the garden and adjoining farmland.

Hillside is an ideal base to explore the beauty of the Scottish Highlands or as a welcome stop on your journey north.
