The Meridale is a small, friendly, seafront guest house - flexibly run by owners Jane and Dave.
If you're looking for value for money in clean, quiet, homely accommodation within a few minutes walk of the beach then look no further!
Many guests return time and again to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere and freshly cooked breakfasts.
Six comfortable en-suite rooms, some with sea views, provide the perfect base from which to explore all that Eastbourne has to offer.

Just two minutes walk from the level promenade leading to the pier, town, theatres and marina.
There is free, unrestricted parking outside the guesthouse and in adjacent roads.
A 'corner shop' is within five minutes walk and the mainly pedestrianised shopping centre is within easy distance.
If you want to go further afield you can catch a bus to Bexhill, Hastings or Brighton from the nearby stop.
Walkers and cyclists are welcome - there is a secure, gated area for bikes overnight and packed lunches at reasonable cost can be provided if required.
Being keen walkers themselves Jane and Dave are always happy to discuss or suggest routes for people unfamiliar with the area.

By car:
On arrival in Eastbourne follow signs to seafront. With the sea on your right go along the seafront road to Treasure Island. We are opposite the car park there, set back from the main road behind the ornamental gardens. By train: Only 90 minutes from London, Victoria. Either take a taxi outside the station or walk and follow signs to seafront. Turn left along the promenade until you reach Treasure Island from where you will be able to see the blue sign of the Meridale opposite. |
