Cloudlands is set in a peaceful conservation area close to the sea front, within walking distance to the Riviera Conference Centre, Cockington Village, town centre, and Torquay railway station.
Cloudlands is the original name of this delightful Victorian villa, which was built in 1881 and still maintains many of its original features.
Today, Cloudlands offers visitors to Torquay the ambiance of a private Victorian home, and yet at the same time all the amenities of a 4 star guest accommodation.
Cloudlands caters exclusively for adults - making it the perfect choice for a quiet and relaxing break.
We have nine comfortable en-suite bedrooms to suit most requirements, including sea facing and ground floor rooms.
Breakfast is served in our elegant dining room overlooking our landscaped garden. The dining room is conveniently situated on the ground floor.
With regular services to Paignton, Newton Abbot, Dawlish, Exeter, and further afield. Why not leave your car in our car park, so that you can relax and take in glorious Devon from the train.

Seasons Open: Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter.
From: £35.00 per room per night for a single room in low season, to £79.00 per room per night for a superior sea facing four poster room in high season. A minimum stay of 2 nights applies throughout the "High Season". During "Low Season" a stay of one night carries an additional charge of £10 per room (£5 single room). Single occupancy available in some double rooms and charged at room rate less 25%. Cloudlands is exclusively for adults and does not cater for children. Cloudlands does not accept 'Hen', 'Stag', 'Young Farmers', or similar group reservations. Open all year with the exception of Christmas and New Year. Bookings cover from 2.00pm on day of arrival to 10.00am on day of departure. If your estimated time of arrival is after 9.00pm please telephone us to make arrangements. |

Pet Facilities: Pets are not allowed. Sorry no pets allowed. Assistance dogs are welcome, at no extra charge, in our ground floor bedroom.

Smoking Facilities: Smoking is not allowed. Smoking is not permitted within the building at any time. Those wishing to smoke may do so in the garden area and car park.

Disabled Facilities: There are disabled facilities. There is a double en-suite bedroom situated on the ground floor, which has a handrail by the toilet and in the shower cubicle. There is also a handrail to the left of the front door above two steps. There is a disabled parking space next to the front door. The dining room and bar lounge are both conveniently situated on the ground floor. All our guests are escorted to their rooms on arrival. A familiarisation tour, or escorted visit, is available if required. Please read our Access Statement on our website for more detailed information.

Travelling by car - Approaching Torquay via the A380 - at Torre Station traffic lights, take the right fork in the direction of Sea Front & Cockington.
Then at the second set of lights, turn right into Walnut Road. Follow the road round, over the railway and turn immediately left into Rousdown Road. Continue along as far as St Agnes Lane and Cloudlands is the second on the left. Travelling by train - Alight at Torquay Station and cross over the footbridge. On leaving the station turn right and then bear left along Solsbro Road. At the first corner turn left into St Agnes Lane and Cloudlands is the second on the left. |
