Katerina's Guest House is special - very special! All of our rooms have beautiful 4-poster beds, all are en-suite, whilst each one is decorated in its own individual style and contains all sorts of little extras that we throw in to make your stay more enjoyable. Tea-time treats like home-made scones come as standard.

Breakfast is special; we make our own bread, so that it can still be fresh and warm when it reaches your table. If you order our whisky porridge, you'll see it's positively swimming in whisky (we like to spoil our customers); our continental breakfasts are a feast in themselves.

You can start the day with a vegetarian treat, or opt to be a raging carnivore (don't miss our special Rothbury sausages). We cater for all tastes - in fact, our extensive breakfast menu, would put many large hotels to shame!

We have a great situation right in the heart of Rothbury, one of the UK's loveliest villages. The centre is full of unusual shops and places to eat - though many customers vote to dine with us.

We used to run an Egon-Ronay recommended restaurant, so you can guess that the food will be good. You can choose from a really wide menu - not just be told that "It's the roast tonight!"

Lastly, you'll never find a better place from which to see this fantastic area. The high hills all around supply perfect and exhilarating walking country.

Attractions are too many to name more than a few - Cragside House, next to the village, Alnwick Castle and Gardens, Hadrian's Wall, the National Park, Heritage Coast and Castles, Lindisfarne and the Scottish Borders - all are within easy reach.
