Ideally situated off the A9 just 12 miles South of Perth, Kilrymont offers quality accommodation in our detached house, with splendid views of the Ochill Hills and Craig Rossie in the foreground.

Tona and Charlie are well known for their hospitality, having been involved in the bed and breakfast business for many years - they previously ran the successful 4 star Corshill Cottage, between Stirling and the Trossachs. They take pleasure in making our guests welcome and are happy to help you plan your visit to this lovely area.

Breakfasts are a delight - excellent food prepared from fresh produce, (locally sought when possible) - Tona is a qualified caterer, who previously owned the Myrtle Inn in Callander.

Traditional Scottish breakfasts are offered, including smoked salmon, kippers and all the usual trimmings. Fresh fruit is served daily in season - the region is renowned for its berry fruits.

In the house the comfortable lounge has a TV(Freeview digital), stereo CD, literature of local interest and a selection of board games.

There are two bedrooms - one twin/kingsize on the first floor and one double on the ground floor, with easy access for disabled visitors; both rooms are en-suite with excellent modern shower facilities and a tea/coffee etc tray is provided.

Kilrymont, being centrally placed, offers the perfect base for touring and visiting places of interest, many within easy reach. We are happy to arrange itineries for our guests.

Scone Palace, on the outskirts of Perth, contains a remarkable porcelain collection and is the original site of the Stone of Destiny, where Scottish monarchs were crowned.

Stirling Castle, the Wallace Monument, the Falkirk Wheel are all within an hour's travel. Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews each make a comfortable day's visit. There are several distilleries within easy reach - all welcome visitors.

The area abounds in quality golf courses, which are reasonably priced; for the more dedicated golfer, as well as the famous links at St Andrews, Gleneagles are just five minutes away.

For the energetic there is hill-walking(the summit of Craig Rossie. takes about two hours from the house and the views from the top of the Ochills, Dundee and the Tay Bridges are well worth the walk.

There is good eating at the local Inn, which is only five minutes walk from our home - we are happy to make reservations in advance, certainly advisable at weekends.

Perth has a wide variety of good restaurants. For evening meals if you wish to eat locally in Auchterarder we would be happy to act as a taxi service.
